Mollie Roy, RP (Qualifying)

Hi, I’m Mollie – I’m so glad you’re here. It takes strength to reach out, and if you’re feeling stuck, frustrated, or lost, I’m here to help you find your way back to “you”. I’ve been in your shoes, and it can be extremely challenging to let go of old habits and develop new patterns, but seeking support from a professional is a massive step in your journey to feeling better and managing life’s stressors. I am passionate about finding a path we can walk together that best suits your needs and goals.

Currently, I am working towards my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) degree from Yorkville University and am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I hold an undergraduate degree from Queen’s University in Psychology and Music. I provide support to individual clients who are navigating depression, anxiety, life transitions, identity challenges, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, and more, as well as to couples seeking to improve their relationships and further connect with their partners. I offer sex-positive, nonjudgmental therapy as an LGBQTIA2S+ ally, and I strive to tailor my approach to the uniqueness of each client. I embrace therapeutic techniques from a variety of theoretical orientations, such as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, strengths-based interventions, and more. My warm, relatable, client-centered approach focuses on building trust and safety while showing unconditional acceptance of every client. Collaboration with clients is most important to me, as I truly believe you are the expert of your own life – I am here to help you increase your insight and learning, foster your growth, and navigate your unique lifestyle, history, and worldview.

Most importantly, I want you to know I truly care about your life, your struggles, your health, and your goals. With me, what you see is what you get, meaning I will never judge you and will continuously champion your progress. I offer in-person and virtual sessions at an affordable price, and I would love to meet you for a free consultation for you to ask me any questions and to see if we click. I am confident we can work together to help you feel like yourself again!
