Joshua Ribalkin, Registered Psychotherapist

Therapy should be about empowering individuals to make choices which will reflect the changes they hope to see in their life. As a therapist my guiding principle is to support individuals as they explore new perspectives, ways of showing up in the world, while moving towards wholeness and growth. Therapy is a partnership between the therapist and client where both work towards the goals and desired changes of the client and not the other way around. As an integrated therapist, I offer clients various methods of realizing change. I have seen the growth clients undergo as they commit to practicing mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy and other ways of healing which align with the client's needs and perspective. I realize there is truly not one way to help everyone I work with and have found that understanding the client's perspective is key to building a successful partnership where the client feels supported as they begin to make changes in their life.
